During the 4th of July, Kaitlin and Justin spend the day together. The day is ruined when something goes wrong with the fireworks.

Episode Summary[]

It's the 4th of July, and Kaitlin is planning on spending the day with Justin. It's going to be loads of fun. Kaitlin sees Justin's car pull into her driveway and she heads out. Justin is happy to see her. They kiss and they head out.

Kaitlin and Justin arrive in town for the parade. It's a nice parade. There are lots of tractors, floats, and of course, candy. Kaitlin wants all the candy. Justin advises against it. He lists a bunch of crazy scenarios of what could happen like her turning into a blueberry and exploding. Kaitlin laughs and grabs the biggest handful of candy.

Just then, Laura comes and warns everyone that something's wrong with the fireworks. Kaitlin feels like this seems familiar but goes over to investigate. Everyone notices that the fireworks burned down the school. Kaitlin doesn't know how to feel right now. Laura thinks they need to do something about this. Everyone thinks they need to rebuild the school.

Zac thinks this is a good way to support the public education of America. This will show their patriotism by rebuilding a necessity to American public education. Jarrett is really confused. He shrugs and gets the fighter robots to help build the school faster. Before everyone knows it, the school is rebuilt. Kaitlin apologizes to Justin that she wishes today could've been better. Justin shrugs and doesn't care.

Luckily, Bailey comes in with a new shipment of fireworks. Justin tells Kaitlin they can still watch the fireworks together. Kaitlin would love that. They go by the church, where the best view of the fireworks are. Everyone watches. People are amused, little kids cheer and play around, some cry, couples hold hands and kiss. That's exactly what Kaitlin and Justin do.
