Pilot[]
Pilot is the first episode of the 2004 animated sitcom, The Nuclears. It was scripted and recorded in 1999, although the series started in 2004. This episode had 9.253 million viewers on its first broadcast.
Plot[]
Brad Nuclear, the father of the family, calls a family meeting. He starts to talk, but is repeatedly interrupted by a meddling Stanford Nuclear. He soon yells, "Staaaaaannnnn!!!!!" and grounds him. Louise Nuclear runs upstairs after Stanford threats to ground her too. Jill Nuclear and Brad comment on how quiet it is without the kids. Jonas, the talking dog of the family, wakes up and says, "Hey, you guys wanna watch The Simpsons?". They gasp and comment on how he can talk. It cuts to an island observatory, where an evil doctor is revealing his plan to his minions. After the commercial break, it cuts to Brad's job. His boss, Mrs. Greene, is scolding him for ramming into the energy source. Brad spills her coffee on her glasses so he can escape. At home, Jill has a heartfelt talk with Stanford about manners. She explains this in a song, M.A.N.N.E.R.S.(The Nuclears). Louise stands on the roof with Jonas, throw ing rocks in their neighbor's chimney. One falls in. The mad scientist flies in his hovercraft, but falls down. His reverse-inator is used to nail the landing. He brings out his vaporize-inator but fails to hit them with it. Jonas finds Brad's old rifle and uses it against him. Brad afterwards walks in the door and kills the scientist. Stanford comments on how they should build a coffin for him. The episode ends.
