Mighty Bug 5: Animal Patrol: The Movie is a 2021 American-Canadian computer-animated adventure comedy film directes by Cal Brunker, who directed PAW Patrol: The Movie. It was produced by Peach Nova Productions & based on the children's television series Mighty Bug 5: Animal Patrol created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull. The film plots a origin story of the six animals, whose called to Yardley City by saving it from Snatcher before destroying the whole bustling city while also set during events of PAW Patrol: The Movie. The voice cast include the actors reprising their respective Mighty Bug 5: Animal Patrol roles while joining by the newcomers: Justin Paul Kelly, Addison Rae, Kallan Holley, Mike Nawrocki, etc.
It serves as the second film produced under the Spin Master Entertainment banner and the first CGI-animated film adaptation of the Mighty Bug 5: Animal Patrol movie series. Originally planned for a worldwide theatrical release on September 23, 2021 by Paramount Pictures, but in response to the COVID-19 pandemic for the closure of theaters across the globe: Paramount made the film available to own digitally on Paramount+ in the United States on the same date planned to be released in theaters.
A Netflix film sequel, titled The Story of Feather & Harris, scheduled to be released on February 13, 2024.
Premise[]
When a mischief stoat, Snatcher, becomes the mayor of Yardley City & wreaks havoc. Lollipop, Ruffles & everyone’s favorite heroic animals kick onto high gear. While Audryck must face his past in Yardley City, the team finds help from a new ally: Palmella. Together armed with exciting new gadgets, The Animal Patrol Team fights to save the citizens of Yardley City & stop Snatcher from destroying the whole metropolis.
Plot[]
With Audryck & Danjhely watching PAW Patrol: The Movie in the school theater, Audryck decides to fast-forward on their scenes. Danjhely's protest over this eventually prompts Audryck to share his team their own film, going back prior to beginning.
A truck driver named Coloney the carpenter bee spectacled bear crashes & hangs over the Yardley suspension bridge. Prances the jack jumper ant pademelon come across the scene, calls the wild beetle squirrel named Lollipop, who sends the Animal Patrol Team into action with a bullet ant chow chow named Ruffles O'Reilly. Audryck, a moth duckling & his buddy Danjhely, a firefly dingo came to save Coloney. Meanwhile in Yardley City, a stag beetle stoat named Snatcher has become mayor, knowing of his infamous wrongdoings. A carpenter bee spectacled bear cub named Palmella & her packrat companion Twists calls the team. Audryck says he isn't going due to him having a ‘history’ in the city when he is a duckling. Lollipop convinces him and Danjhely to go back before the team arrived get settled into their new headquarters. Meanwhile, Snatcher uses a device called a Cloud Catcher to clear up the weather so he can do his firework show. This goes haywire to which the animals being alerted, Palmella guides them into the City Hall. They manage took care of the situation, but Audryck fails to save some people until Danjhely helps him out. Later, Snatcher tells his henchmen (Both voiced by Edward Hibbert) to get the animals off the streets.
The next day, he also builds an extension to the subway line with a big loop-de-loop. It breaks and traps the passengers went upside-down so the animals rescue them, but Audryck freezes and soon rescued by Eva. Ruffles suggests the duckling should take a break, but causes him to run off. He is then duck-napped by the henchmen as Danjhely tries to rescue him before one knocks her out. The team find a lot of animals had gone missing and Lollipop links them to Snatcher. Palmella (with Twists) gets captured on purpose and is taken to an obedience school turned animal shelter jail where a snooty queen butterfly rainbow lorikeet Jewlery help saving Audryck (as well as the other animals). Ruffles and Lollipop takes Audryck to where he found him and tells him to choose him because he was the bravest duck he met. Meanwhile the Cloud Catcher has gone critical when the creator Florian the wingless dragonfly carpenter bee spectacled bear confronts Snatcher, destroys the remote and reveals his building Humdinger Heights. The machine unleashes a weeks load of bad weather, Florian calls the team and Palmella is given her own vehicle and uniform. She joins the team with Danjhely save Snatcher, but was trapped in the building after it falls down. Audryck drives up to save her while Eva goes in & stops the Cloud Catcher, he takes a leap of faith to rescue his dingo friend in time. Eva manages to drive straight into machine & eject before crashing, the machine explodes if she flies down. The Mighty Bug 5 put Snatcher under arrest for ‘gross negligence, public endangerment & animal napping’.
The team given a key to Yardley City in a big ceremony, Palmella (and Twists) becomes an official member, fulfilling her dream at last. Lollipop gets a call from Lippert the grasshopper American rabbit (one of the animals from the shelter) saying there is danger at the waterfront, so the animals drive into the rescue. Once the movie finishes if Palmella, Carlito, Carlie Mcgill, Kendryck, Eva and eventually other Nickelodeon characters joining Audryck and Danjhely to rewatch the film in a school theater which Palmella tells Audryck of still doesn't do well in crowds'.
In the mid-credits scene as Feather Wood and Harris Faulkner came to Yardley City, begin searching for The Animal Patrol Team.

On August 20, 2020, Mikros Animation announced they would produce the film after PAW Patrol: The Movie released.
On August 29, 2021, NickALive reported that it is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2021. Later, the first sneak peek of the movie was shown during Nickelodeon's 2021 Kids' Choice Awards ceremony.
During Spin Master's first quarter 2021 earnings conference call, an animated theatrical film based on the series was confirmed to be "in the works" with an September 2021 theatrical release date. On August 29, 2020, the film's theatrical release was announced to be September 23, 2021, available to stream on Paramount+ 45 days since the pandemic causes the worldwide theatres to closed.
