When a new family member joins the family, Linner becomes jealous of his brother because no one is paying attention to him anymore. Knowing there really is nothing to do about it, he does not think of Sampson as a family member for a long time. When Linner's Mom realizes his jealousy, she reminds him of his spot in the family. Knowing he has done wrong, he adds Sampson in Mom and Dad's arms for his drawing, and makes Sampson smile.
