Hamtaro: The Adventures Continue!, also known as Hamutaro Adevntures in Japan (ハムタロの冒険 Hamutaro no bōken) is a Japanese-American animated television series created by Jonathan DeOliveira and Osamu Nabeshima. It serves as a retelling of the original Hamtaro manga and anime series created by Ritsuko Kawai, complete with new characters, a new setting, and new elements.
The series first premiered in Japan on January 25, 2010 on TV Tokyo. The English dub of the series first premiered in Canada on Teletoon on March 1, 2010, and later premiered in the US on Cartoon Network on May 3, 2010.
Synopsis[]
Hamtaro is a little hamster who lives with his owner Laura in Sunny Creek City. Through a small passageway in his hamster house, he is able to travel to "Ham-Ham Central", an underground utopia where hamsters roam free. There, his friends Oxnard and Bijou live and assists Hamtaro on his various aventures both in Ham-Ham Central and the real world.

A girl named Laura and her family move to the city of Sunny Creek. After settling in Laura and her father decide to go walking around town. Meanwhile, Hamtaro decides to go out of his cage and explore the house for himself, only to run into Oxnard, a fellow hamster. Oxnard reveals that there is a whole hamster world underneath the house called "Ham-Ham Central". By finding a secret passage way in his cage, Hamtaro goes deep underground to the hamster utopia and makes new friends. |
