Easter at Macey's is the ninety-fifth episode of My Friend Macey.

Episode Summary[]

It's Easter Sunday, and Macey and family are getting ready for their family to come over for Easter. Macey thinks there's something beautiful about Easter. Jon wonders if it's the mass consumption of sugary products and the rising capital of desserts during this fiscal period. Macey wonders where that all came from, but says no. Macey thinks that the beautiful spring weather, plus getting to see her family and have good food makes it a wonderful holiday. Jon thinks he has to agree with her on all of that. Macey loves Easter so much, that she also holds an egg hunt for all of her friends and family ever year. She is happy that Mom and Dad allow her to do it every year. While Mom and Dad go greet Grandma and Grandpa at the door, Macey rallies up her friends for the egg hunt. She makes sure each of them has had the chance to see their family first before starting the hunt.

Macey's family and friends are all ready for the great egg hunt. Laila boasts to Davien, saying that she's gonna get more eggs than him this year. Davien wants to see Laila try. Alyssa thinks they should focus on taking down the reigning champion, Macey's cousin Andrew. Andrew flexes with his golden egg from last year. Brea thinks the golden egg will be hers this year. Macey looks around and realizes they're still missing a couple people. All of a sudden, Aunt Marcy and Uncle Paul come riding in on a horse. Macey shudders at the thought of Aunt Marcy. Aunt Marcy says hello to everyone. Macey observes that she's still into riding the range. Mom tells Macey she thinks that's everyone. Macey wonders if Mom and Dad are going to participate. Dad thinks they'll just observe this year and chat with Grandma and Grandpa. As Grandpa begins complaining about TikTok, Macey begins the egg hunt. Everyone goes berserk.

As everyone goes crazy for eggs, Andrew is keeping his title secure at the moment. Marcus and Landen notice this and think they need to take Andrew down a peg. The two try to sabotage Andrew, but it doesn't work. This just motivates Andrew to keep pushing for the most. As Andrew begins finding some of the last eggs, he begins worrying he might not come out completely victorious because he hasn't found the golden egg yet. All of a sudden, he hears a voice proclaiming that they just found the golden egg. Andrew looks defeated. Turns out that Macey's little cousin and Andrew's little sister, Jenna, found the golden egg. Andrew is so upset that he punches Jenna and takes the golden egg from her. Everyone gasps. Jenna and Andrew's mom, Macey's Aunt Barbara, wonders what that was all about. Barbara takes the golden egg from Andrew and tells him that Jenna found it fair and square. Macey wonders why Andrew did that. Andrew doesn't know and begins feeling bad about what he did. Grace then wonders if that means the hunt is over. Ashley thinks so. Jessica suggests they just see themselves out before things get ugly over here. Dylan agrees. Macey's friends awkwardly head out.

At Easter dinner, Macey's family eats in silence as they are all disappointed with Andrew. Andrew begins saying he's sorry and knows what he did was wrong. Barbara hopes that Andrew learned a lesson, and says half of his Easter candy is getting taken away. Andrew feels that's a fair punishment. Macey thinks that she shouldn't do the egg hunt again next year just so they avoid anything like what just happened. Jon thinks that's a good idea. Mom thinks that's all in the past now, and that they should all be grateful they get to spend this holiday together as a family. Andrew agrees and then apologizes to Jenna. Jenna, still teary-eyed, just stares at Andrew. Andrew decides that he needs to make things right. Andrew tells Jenna that she can have all of his Easter candy. The family awes in unison. Andrew thinks he's getting a little old for the whole egg hunt thing anyway. Aunt Barbara says that was a very mature and kind thing of him to do. The family's life spark back as they continue to eat and chat.
