This was a pitch pilot for a reboot of the 2001 cartoon series Committed.
Premise[]
The reboot intended to focus on the feministic atmosphere that was produced in the original Committed series released in 2001, but remain closer to the original comics. One of the segments was originally a pilot centered on a character from Being Ian entitled Life In Hell With Sandi, but Strange couldn't get the rights to make it.
Liz would wind up in situations caused only by her own fault and it would often drive her to the point of madness. The show teaches how not every issue could be solved by a single gender and that one should make the most of what they have.
Aftermath[]
Three episodes were penned for the show, and the only one that was completed was the pilot. An animatic for the second episode exists, albeit half-completed. The third episode was rumored to have been heavily altered and converted into the official pilot for Red Life, a show created in late 2016 that Dolan also worked on.
