When Maddy refuses to share her things with Kayla, Kayla calls for Kaitlin's help with the situation.
Episode Summary[]
Maddy and Kayla are at the beach and are just about done with their tan and swim. Kayla realizes she forgot her towel at home and asks Maddy if she can borrow hers. Maddy says no. Kayla shrugs and just sun dries. Later on, Maddy and Kayla go to the ice cream shop and Kayla has no money on her. Maddy buys a giant strawberry sundae and doesn't share with Kayla, even though the sundae is big enough for the two of them. Later on, the two go to a beach shop and Kayla wants to share a fitting room with Maddy. Maddy says no mainly because that's just weird. Kayla is angry.
Kayla's go-to for this situation is Kaitlin. Kaitlin wonders why exactly. Kayla helped Maddy get through a candy addiction so she thinks she can help her out here as well. Kaitlin brings up that she was the one that helped her, but she is still willing to help and thinks it's worth a shot. Kaitlin goes and talks to Maddy about the situation. Maddy didn't realize what she was doing and she says she'll try her best to share from now on. Kaitlin is glad. She leaves to go on a date with Ez. Later that day, Maddy continues to be selfish with Kayla. Kayla clearly knows this didn't work. She calls Kaitlin back.
Kaitlin is annoyed that she had to ditch her date with Ez to help again. Kaitlin wonders what happened because she gave a good talk to Maddy. Kaitlin knows of a song that will hopefully help her out. Kaitlin sings the song and wonders if it helped Maddy out at all. Maddy thinks it helped her and she will try this whole "sharing" thing again. That's when Maddy spots a homeless man on the street.
The man obviously looks hungry. Maddy has a whole turkey sandwich on her person. Maddy knows the right thing to do here. She gives the man half of her sandwich. The man can't thank Maddy enough. Kayla is happy, and Maddy apologizes to Kayla for the way she had been behaving. She now realizes how important it is to share. Kaitlin is happy and goes to resume her date with Ez.
