Abusive Parent: Many abusive parents, mostly fathers appear in the series, Examples are listed below:
- Rusty (usually abusive to Maxi but sometimes sides with him)
- Mr. Wheeler (usually abusive to his entire family)
- Dick Hicks (because of his cruel behavior towards his son, He has became very cruel like him, Chick didn't even see his dad as the said parent kicked his mom out of his house 6 weeks after he was born!)
Animate Inanimate Object: Almost every single character has this trope as most are antropomorphic vehicles and penguins, Except the ones from the Kate Ashby universe.
Absent Parent: Some of these characters have this trope: Chick Hicks' mother is not usually around while Jackson's dad is never seen, What could have happened to him? That's a mystery....
One Winged Angel: Tony apparently has wings, despite being a helicopter.
Ahem: The sound a character does to begin a sentence when they're angry, disappointed or making an annoucement.
Arson, Murder and Jaywalking: Mentioned in some episodes where a character commits a serious crime.
Badass Teacher: In Mr. Wheeler & Friends if it was South Park, Mrs. Teach goes bonkers and terrorizes her class with a gun at the near-end of the episode, That's one crazy teacher!

Heel-Face Turn: Jackson Storm, Maxi, DJ, Zundapp (from his Cars 2 personality) and partially Chick Hicks, despite his father making him act all arrogant.
Home Nudist: Since most of the characters are antropomorphic vehicles and penguins, They are barely seen wearing any clothes, Especially for the penguin characters for exp. Pingu, Who actually walked naked outside their houses! How is this even legal? Luckily there are some penguins who wear actual clothes, But starting from late 2024, Pingu and other penguins start wearing clothes. That was just so weird....
Oh, Crap!: They use this similar kind of exclaimation when something goes terribly wrong.
Parental Substitute: Doc Hudson and Gale Beaufort are in this example, He's a sometimes-grumpy but wise caring father-figure mentor to Lightning and Roary, He is the godfather of Tin Top and Razy Kelly as he was at their baptism when the two were babies.
