2023: A Space Macey is the thirty-first episode of My Friend Macey.
Episode Summary[]
Deep into space, Rosalina finds herself face to face against Albert. They're engaging in an epic battle for the Grand Stars. Rosalina tells Albert he'll never have the Grand Stars. Albert thinks he will so he can power his new galactic empire. As the battle continues, some of the Luma try to aid, but it's no use. Albert manages to beat Rosalina. He takes the Grand Stars and sails away with them. Rosalina knows this is bad. She knows she's going to need backup. She then remembers that brave girl from when they stopped Sage. She sends a signal down to earth for help.
Back on earth, Macey is out to coffee with Alyssa. They're busy talking about the blue and gold dress that sparked up a huge debate on the internet a few years ago. All of a sudden, Macey sees she's getting a call from Rosalina. Macey wonders what Rosalina wants. She answers and figures out that Rosalina is in trouble. Alyssa wonders what they're gonna do to help. Macey says they need to stop Albert. Alyssa remembers Albert because he was the guy that shrunk the town a while back. Macey thinks that they need to get to space somehow, though. She then thinks Tails might have something to help get them to space. Alyssa says it's worth a shot. The girls head over to Tails' workshop. Upon arrival, they see that Kaitlin, Savannah, Emma, Katie, and Shannon are all there. Macey is surprised to see them all. Kaitlin wonders if they're here to stop Albert too. Macey says yes.
Tails is putting the finishing touches on a spaceship that will lead them right to Albert. Kaitlin thanks Tails again for his help. Tails says it's no problem. Shannon wonders if he'll be joining them. Tails says he would be, but he needs to help Sonic and Knuckles stop Zazz from destroying the children's museum. Over at the children's museum, Sonic and Knuckles are trying to talk Zazz out of destroying the bubble machine. He does, and the two cry about it. Tails thinks from his understanding, the two of them are kind of wimping out. Alyssa thinks that's not like them. Tails wishes them luck on their mission. Macey thanks Tails and wishes him luck on his. Once everyone gets in, Macey wonders if anyone knows how to fly a spaceship. Kaitlin says she flew a spaceship once and thinks she can take the helm. Savannah remembers that now and wonders what ever happened to King Cosmo.
The girls blast into space. Once they enter outer space, Macey and Alyssa admire the view, as they both have never been in space before. Macey thinks this is really cool. Shannon says that they're getting a message incoming. To their surprise, it's King Cosmo. Katie wonders what he wants. King Cosmo says that he's not here to threaten them. He said that he's changed his ways. Kaitlin wonders how they can know for sure. He steps aside and shows Rosalina. Rosalina says she was surprised herself. King Cosmo says he had an entire series to reform himself. Emma thinks she knows what series he's talking about. Rosalina says that they're nearing Albert and his galactic empire. She also says that she'll get over to them for aid as soon as she can. Macey thanks Rosalina for her help. Rosalina says she should be the one thanking them.
When they arrive to Albert's empire, they're greeted by a familiar face. It's none other than Rotatatron. Macey isn't happy to see this contraption again. Alyssa wonders why they're facing off against a Ferris Wheel. Emma wonders if this thing has any sort of defenses. She presses a button, and rockets come out of it. Emma thinks this is so cool. They fire the rockets at Rotatatron. It just isn't enough, sadly. Macey leaves the ship and takes him on personally. Kaitlin thinks Macey has ambition. After defeating Rotatatron, Albert comes out and congratulates Macey on her valiant effort of destroying his creature. Macey scowls at Albert. He says that they're just in time to see him complete his empire and take over the galaxy. He says he might destroy earth in the meantime too. Everyone gasps. They watch in horror as Albert feeds the last Grand Star into his machine to take over the universe.
All of a sudden, a giant beam destroys the machine. It's none other than Rosalina and the Comet Observatory. King Cosmo asks if any of them are ready for a fight. Macey says she is. The others inside the spaceship say they are. The heroes, Rosalina, and King Cosmo begin fighting Albert. Some of the Luma recover the Grand Stars in the process. After the epic battle, the heroes win. Albert says that they're not gonna get away with this one. Macey thinks that they will do just that. Albert says he'll be back for his revenge. Rosalina thanks the brave heroes for saving the Grand Stars. Macey says it was all in a day's work. Rosalina heads back to do her own thing, and the heroes head back down to earth. Alyssa wonders just how powerful those Grand Stars are. Macey has no idea and says that maybe one day they'll find out the answer.
Back on earth, Emma is conversing with Taylor about the Grand Stars. She's telling Taylor that if she can get a hold of one of the Grand Stars, she could stop the fate that's looming upon Macey and her friends. Taylor thinks that they qualify for the "Macey's friends" category. Emma says that's exactly the point. She says they need to find a way into space so they can see this Grand Star for themselves. Taylor wonders how they're possibly supposed to do that. They then see Kaitlin landing the spaceship at Tails' workshop. Taylor didn't know Tails lived so close to Emma. Emma thinks she has an idea. Taylor doesn't like where this is going.
