Since nobody asked for it, here are a few reasons on why should I improve and rewrite/rework on the page about the fanmade Cut the Rope movie made here on this wiki. I already know that the whole summary makes some people witness that their childhood may be ruined; but let's say that it is too scary and wanted to give it a *totally* more causal makeover.
Instead of the film having to be centered in the horror theme, it will instead have a happy, comedic and peaceful vibe. Also having small slice-of-life elements. (This results in a change of rating, which means from R to PG)
Some changes and additions of new characters. There will be 3 new ones which are humans: Mitchell Liebling (male), DeLaina Lindemann (female), and Brenda Liebling (also female, the sister of Mitchell) – Om Nom having a speaking voice instead of his usual high-pitch sounds, just like in the later seasons of Om Nom Stories – and the other characters that also appear, including Om Nelle, Nibble Nom, Roto, Lick, Toss, Boo, Evan Coulton (one of the only in-universe humans), and the New Neighbors gang (which appears at the near-end of the film).
The movie itself is Flash-animated with some live-action segments, which those directing styles may be mixed in most scenes, since the animation will be provided by Rocket Fox, Mercury Filmworks and Rough Draft Studios.
The estimated duration of the movie is around 1 hour and 46 minutes (106:18), with an additional 21 mins. in the director's cut version (127:52).
It's soundtrack would only use musical cues and original orchestral compositions, along with a few repetitions of the CtR main menu and in-level themes, in a small amount of pieces.
The release date is going to be either in 2022 or 2023, most likely for the original game's 12th/13th anniversary.
If you (and Starcake79) is/are reading this, then it should be my OWN idea that is going to replace the concurrent one. Wish me luck if I'm gonna rewrite the article, or wanted to share opinions in this thread's replies.
